"The Orphan"s real name was not revealed. She does not seem to know her birthday, which she intended to find out.
She was a spy working for the Science Academy of Sauville. After having successfully stolen the Memento Box from Beelzebub's Skull, she; along with The Scarecrow, helped to assist Kazuya Kujo and Victorique de Blois onto the train leaving the then flooding Beelzebub Skull.
However, after her rendevous with fellow spy The Knight in the same train cabin, the Memento Box was stolen from her by The Scarecrow. She was consequently poisoned by "The Woodcutter".
Her very last word was, "Mother."
